SbS Fantasy League: Playoff Semifinals

During the 2014 NFL season, SbS Football is simulating a fantasy football league in which the teams are based on the hometown states of current NFL players.  For more information on the league, including how the teams were developed, league rules and the weekly schedule, please see our Season Preview.

Semifinal Results
Game 1: Gulf Region defeated Georgia / SC (101.9 - 64.5)
Analysis: Thanks to standout rookie Odell Beckham Jr. (32.3 points), the Gulf Region team cruised to an easy victory over a Georgia / SC team that was missing its top QB and RB (Cam Newton and Andre Ellington). 

Game 2: Northeast defeated California (77.3 - 64.1)

Analysis: Matt Ryan (23.2 points) and Rob Gronkowski (15.6 points) led the Northeast team into the Championship Game as the California team, the highest scoring team in the league, had one of its worst weeks of the season.
