SbS Fantasy League: Week 12 Results

During the 2014 NFL season, SbS Football is simulating a fantasy football league in which the teams are based on the hometown states of current NFL players.  For more information on the league, including how the teams were developed, league rules and the weekly schedule, please see our Season Preview.

Week 12 Results
Game 1: Florida defeated Midwest (94.6 - 59.0)
Analysis: The Florida team inched closer to a playoff spot thanks to 31.0 points from Justin Forsett and 19.7 points from T.Y. Hilton.

Game 2: California defeated Mid-Atlantic (94.7 - 85.0)

Analysis: The California team clinched second place in the Western Division as it got strong outings from two players both making their first starts of the year: C.J. Anderson (25.5 points) and Delanie Walker (15.5).

Game 3: Northeast defeated Texas (111.2 - 95.6)
Analysis: Led by productive games from both running backs, LeSean McCoy (19.1 points) and Latavius Murray (23.2 points), the Northeast team moved to 0.500 and kept its playoff hopes alive.

Game 4: Gulf Region defeated Ohio River Valley (135.8 - 69.8)
Analysis: The Gulf Region team is now only one win away from a perfect regular season as it had its highest scoring week of the year; Odell Beckham, Eddie Lacy, Peyton Manning and Matt Forte all scored more than 20 points.

Game 5: Georgia / SC defeated West (85.0 - 70.7)
Analysis: Georgia / SC clinched a playoff spot as it benefited from the big games of Demaryius Thomas (26.7 points) and Zach Mettenberger (22.1 points).
