SbS Fantasy League: Week 10 Results

During the 2014 NFL season, SbS Football is simulating a fantasy football league in which the teams are based on the hometown states of current NFL players.  For more information on the league, including how the teams were developed, league rules and the weekly schedule, please see our Season Preview.

Week 10 Results
Game 1: Ohio River Valley defeated Northeast (73.7 - 62.0)
Analysis: The Ohio River Valley team moved into sole possession of 2nd place in the Eastern Division as it benefited from playing the lowest scoring team in the league.

Game 2: Gulf Region defeated Mid-Atlantic (81.7 - 76.9)

Analysis: Despite not having a kicker to start this week (Stephen Gostkowski was on bye), the Gulf Region team ran its perfect record to 10-0 as Peyton Manning had another big game (30.0 points).

Game 3: Texas defeated Florida (118.2 - 94.8)
Analysis: Led by 27.8 points from Dez Bryant, the Texas team had a huge week and got a much needed win; meanwhile, the Florida team has lost six consecutive games. 

Game 4: Georgia / SC defeated Midwest (86.5 - 68.7)
Analysis: The Georgia / SC team maintained first place in the Eastern Division as it benefited from getting Calvin Johnson (17.3 points) back in the lineup.

Game 5: California defeated West (121.3 - 75.7)
Analysis: The California team had almost as many points from Aaron Rodgers (33.8 points) and Marshawn Lynch (40.3) as the West team had in total; the West team no longer has a starting NFL QB on its roster (previously had Ryan Fitzpatrick and Jake Locker).
