SbS Fantasy League: Week 7 Results

During the 2014 NFL season, SbS Football is simulating a fantasy football league in which the teams are based on the hometown states of current NFL players.  For more information on the league, including how the teams were developed, league rules and the weekly schedule, please see our Season Preview.

Week 7 Results
Game 1: Mid-Atlantic defeated Florida (93.1 - 57.8)
Analysis: An easy victory for the Mid-Atlantic team thanks to a monster week from Russell Wilson (38.3 points); the Florida team has now dropped three consecutive games.

Game 2: Georgia / SC defeated Ohio River Valley (91.8 - 81.9)

Analysis: Led by Demaryius Thomas (29.1 points) and Andre Ellington (16.0 points), the Georgia / SC team has now won three straight; Ohio River Valley got strong games from Le'Veon Bell (20.5 points) and Golden Tate (21.4 points).

Game 3: Gulf Region defeated California (100.1 - 81.0)
Analysis: The Gulf Region team is now 7-0 and was once again led by Peyton Manning (27.8 points) and Matt Forte (22.9 points); California is only 4-3 despite having the most points in the league.

Game 4: Midwest defeated Northeast (75.4 - 71.8)
Analysis: Wisconsin native Tony Romo (22.5 points) led the Midwest team to a narrow victory; the Northeast team has lost three straight and is the lowest scoring team in the league.

Game 5: Texas defeated West (91.0 - 74.2)
Analysis: Andrew Luck (23.7 points), Jamaal Charles (16.7 points) and Dez Bryant (15.1 points) led the way for a Texas team that was desperate for a win; a big game once again for DeMarco Murray (19.2 points) was not enough for the West team.
