SbS Fantasy League: Week 4 Results

During the 2014 NFL season, SbS Football is simulating a fantasy football league in which the teams are based on the hometown states of current NFL players.  For more information on the league, including how the teams were developed, league rules and the weekly schedule, please see our Season Preview.

Week 4 Results
Game 1: Northeast defeated Georgia / SC (60.3 - 56.9)
Analysis: The lowest scoring game of the week; Northeast benefited from a Georgia / SC team that had its starting TE and K on bye, as well as a banged up Cam Newton and Calvin Johnson.

Game 2: Florida defeated Ohio River Valley (102.4 - 95.0)

Analysis: Teddy Bridgewater got the start over Geno Smith and helped Florida remain unbeaten; Ohio River Valley has allowed the second most points in the league and is now the only winless team.

Game 3: Gulf Region defeated California (117.9 - 94.1)
Analysis: California has scored the most points of any team in the league, but is now only 2-2; meanwhile, Gulf Region is 4-0 and has surrendered the least amount of points of any team.

Game 4: West defeated Texas (122.3 - 101.5)
Analysis: In the highest scoring game of the week, the two RBs from West (DeMarco Murray and Matt Asiata) combined for 55.5 points; Texas fell to 1-3 despite scoring over 100 points for the second consecutive week.

Game 5: Mid-Atlantic defeated Midwest (87.6 - 51.1)
Analysis: Mid-Atlantic won its second straight as it has played the lowest scoring team two weeks in a row; only two players from Midwest had double-digit points (Kirk Cousins and Adam Vinatieri).
